Orange Flower

I discovered this flower lying helplessly on the ground. It cried to me: "O Gaylord! Ere I cross the great divide, liberate me from the soggy clutches of the earth and glorify my deliverance!"

I could not refuse such a poignant request from a downtrodden blossom, and so I granted its final wish: to have iced tea poured upon its orange petals and held up to the Sun's rays.
